It´s been Awhile

It's been a while since the last blog post, so it's about time. Over the past year, quite a few chapters of snaps have accumulated. I thought about the structure of my webpage several times, and then changed my mind as many times again, whether I should invest my time in to it the way it is, but I have to admit, I like such chapters. They are starting to get mixed up now and are no longer so linear (more thoroughly in the new year) , but I think such stories have a certain charm. They are more together in the same time and space. Webpage does have a little more structure than before, however, and I have promised myself that in addition to the snap chapters, I will start  a portfolio at some point.

Last year went by under the sign that I understood more and more what I want to do and then what I should do when I pick up the camera. And I still follow the logic that the worst picture is the one I didn't take. I generally don't worry too much and realize that I don't know everything yet but I'm learning. And I do really enjoy this process, even if sometimes I don't get what I want. Or I just don't know how to get it. Or everything takes a really long time. Or things just don´t go my way. S…t happens.

There are quite a few exciting moments of photography to expect from the new year. I have also collected some pretty good equipment for myself and it covers a variety of needs quite nicely. Of course, I would like more and more new stuff, but every time I look at pictures of my beloved X-T30ii, I realize again that the results really depends more on the photographer than on the equipment itself. You just have to get to know your gear and go with the flow. Everything will usually end up where it should be.
