How it all started…

How to kill your wallet in million different ways? Photography!

Like all good ideas … was that one creeping up in my brain for awhile before i pulled the trigger. Thoughts of getting a ´real´ camera were there maybe a few months before, but glimpses of that idea even years before. Nothing solid, nothing concrete - only random thoughts. Until I asked a friend who has had her toes in photography for decades “what camera would you use if you have to buy a new one” and she answered “Fuji”. That sounded mysterious, interesting and acted as trigger in my head to think back (khm khm). It took a bit more than a month after that. Weird, how something is cooking in one´s brain because I literally knew nothing about using cameras like Fujifilm… or any other.. at all. Nor composition in photography.

After some rapid consulation with Youtube and Google my desicion was made and landed on Fujifilm X-S10. Seemed easy for the beginner but still good if and when I´m learning fast (oh that good old self-confidence). And I had no idea about the lenses, none whatsoever. Literally. So I brought 16-55mm, f/3.5-5.6 OIS on the spot that I used maybe 5-6 times all together before getting Fujinon XF 35mm f/2 R WR and falling in love with that one. Two months later I ordered Fujinon XF 16-55mm f/2.8 R LM WR and those two, the 35mm f/2 and my new zoom, stayed with me though the first months of trial and error.
